Ackerman and Quinn Financial Services have donated, for the fourth year in a row, resuable aluminum water bottles for every Poughkeepsie Rower.
Stewart's Shoppes has donated to Poughkeepsie Crew for years without asking for anything in return! We are grateful for their ongoing support of our athletes!
Davis Furniture has sponsored Poughkeepsie Crew for many years, we are grateful for their support as well!
In addition we welcome the following as part of our sponsorship family:
Dutchess Dodge
On the Spot Taxi
Chazen Engineering
Darkside Records
Poughkeepsie Mazda
Norm's Auto Repair
William G. Miller and Son Funeral Home
FAMILY SPONSORS - We would like to thank the following Poughkeepsie Crew Families that sponsored our team t-shirts:
2017 GRANTS
We would like to thank Vassar College for awarding Poughkeepsie Crew a grant of $840 through a Vassar Good Neighbors program to replace two of our Regatta tents. This grant is the third we have received from the Vassar Good Neighbors Fund, their support has allowed us to close up some of our equipment gaps and funnel our fundraising proceeds to regatta support and boat purchases!
COIN DROPS AND CONCESSION STANDS
We have raised over $1400 from anonymous members of our community at coin drops and another $1400 through concession sales at Poughkeepsie High School football and basketball games.
FLAPJACK FUNDRAISER
Our Flapjack Fundraiser was a great success - we raised $1400 for our crew team and fed a whole lot of people while we did it! Poughkeepsie Crew would like to thank everyone who attended - friends, family, coaches, teachers, school board members and administrators - your support is greatly appreciated!
A HUGE thank you to Applebees on Rte.9 for providing their staff, their dining room and kitchen so we can host this fundraiser each year. What a great service to our community and our athletes! We encourage everyone to go eat there at least once this year as a way to thank them.
Of course we would not have been able to pull this off so early in the season without the work of Peg Milone - thank you Peg! Thank you also to Angela Panzer who helped out in the kitchen and Ralph Milone who washed ALL of our dishes!
And lastly - a big thank you to our 28 friendly and hard working athlete volunteers who greeted, served, filled butter and syrup cups, rolled silverware and cleaned up! You guys were great!
OUR VOLUNTEERS!
A huge shout out to Anthony Lewis, who has fed our athletes for the past decade - he retired this year with the last of the Lewis rowers graduating, but his support and legacy will never be forgotten!
